The vertical impregnation machine is a high-efficiency system designed for producing semi-cured PP sheets from electronic-grade glass fiber fabrics and resin systems, widely used in copper-clad laminates (CCL) and related composites. It processes fabric from rolls in a single pass, performing resin impregnation, uniform coating, curing, drying, cooling, and rewinding.
Its vertical fabric path minimizes contact points, reducing scratches and contamination while saving floor space. The drying oven features infrared heating combined with smooth airflow, preventing “hard skin” and black spot defects, ensuring uniform curing, excellent surface quality, and precise temperature control.
The machine also includes automatic tension control, precise temperature regulation (±1°C), and an efficient solvent emission treatment system, delivering stable, high-efficiency production while meeting environmental standards. Fully customizable, it ensures consistent product quality and can be tailored to specific process requirements.
Radiant Heating Oven – Overview
The radiant heating oven is a key piece of equipment for drying and curing pre-impregnated sheets (PP). It can be heated by hot oil or electricity and provides either conventional or far-infrared radiation. Far-infrared waves are particularly effective for epoxy resin, as the energy is absorbed directly by the resin molecules, promoting solvent evaporation and uniform curing while minimizing bubbles and surface defects.
